- Check whether the course is indoor or outdoor before a rainy or hot day.
- Ask about birthday and group packages.
- Weekday afternoons are usually least crowded.
How we ranked San Diego's best mini golf courses
We started with every mini golf course in San Diego County that is open, verifiable and reviewed by visitors, then scored each one on review quality weighted by review volume, so a perfect score from a handful of visitors can't outrank years of consistent praise from thousands. Full-size golf courses and driving ranges have their own list. Rankings are editorial and never for sale; paid placements are clearly labeled Sponsored and sit outside the ranking.
